Charisma Carpenter

KimCharisma Carpenter, an American actor, is known for her role as Cordelia Chase in the cult television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Carpenter was also an experienced cheerleader, and was trained as a ballerina however, she was a performer on accident. She was discovered by a commercial agent when she was waiting tables in Los Angeles, Carpenter quickly rose from being a commercial model to being a leading role in one of the most popular fictional dramas of the 90s. After a few years of 'Cordelia,' Carpenter played short-term roles in teens' shows like "Miss Match," "Charmed,' and the Veronica Mars. Her reality show called 'Investigation Discovery 'Surviving Evil' (originally titled 'I Survived Evil'), stunned a large number of viewers. The show featured Carpenter who told her story of horror of being assaulted by a serial rapist , when she was just 21. This revealed a side to Carpenter who many viewers didn't knew about. Carpenter was attacked and killed by Henry Hubbard Jr., a 29-year-old San Diego police officer. Hubbard held Carpenter at gunpoint and instructed her to tie both her friends. He resisted Carpenter's gun and instructed her to tie up her two friends. She refused, leaving plenty of time for her friends' to confront Hubbard. Hubbard was also injured in the arm by her friends. Hubbard was taken into custody shortly afterward. Carpenter helped to save a key evidence piece, a police-issue flashlight, which helped in securing a 56-year prison sentence for the serial perpetrator of rape.
